Isata is one of seven children, five of whom travel from their home in Nottingham to attend junior music college in London on Saturdays. Isata began playing the piano at the age of six and enjoys performing in solo, concerto and chamber concerts. In September she will attend the Royal Academy of Music as an Elton John Scholar.
