Ben never finished college. He’s not that bothered.

As an only child, Ben’s parents doted on him as a boy and dote on him still as a fully grown boy. Frankly, he’s been mollycoddled. Matthew’s flat is the first place he’s lived as an adult and it’s his first time on his own two feet, and he needs to be looked after. If anything, he is the surrogate son to Matthew, his surrogate Mum, and Tom, his surrogate Dad.
He has little interest in going outside the flat. He prefers it inside, it’s safer there. Ben’s ideal day is spent mostly in the bath, followed by watching three films in the afternoon and perhaps playing Fifa. He is easily pleased; content; by far the happiest of the three. He messed up childhood the first time, he’s not going to mess it up the second time.
