Toril attends the Royal College of Music's Junior Department, where he studies percussion and composition. His latest projects include being part of the LPO Junior Artist scheme, playing in the pit at Glyndebourne and competing with his duo. After taking his Maths, German and Chemistry A-levels in the summer, Toril will be returning to the RCM as an undergraduate in September. To relax, he enjoys kayaking, playing video games and occasionally writing poetry. Toril is also very grateful to the Cherubim Music Trust for the loan of his 5-octave Marimba.
