Coronavirus Conversations: Being in prison
We talk about challenging conditions in prisons during the pandemic.
We talk about two groups which are being especially affected by the virus, but who might be out of sight for many.
We hear from Latin America where several prison riots have broken out, as inmates demand greater protection. We also speak to an inmate in the US about her experience inside. She is pregnant and was temporarily released but may have to return to custody after giving birth.
And we've reached out to migrant workers who are trying to return home after their plans for a better life have come to a halt because of the coronavirus. We hear from Thailand and Dubai as well as from India where our reporter has been collecting stories from some of the migrants who are among the thousands returning to their villages.
