President Trump and Xi Jinping meet in South Korea
Ahead of the meeting President Trump said 'a lot of problems are going to be solved'.
President Trump and the Chinese leader Xi Jinping are meeting in South Korea, to discuss a possible truce in the trade war between the world's two biggest economies. Ahead of the meeting, President Trump told reporters that 'a lot of problems are going to be solved' at the 'great meeting'.
The collapse of the Sudanese army forces in El Fasher - their last base in the Western Darfur region – has left some three-hundred-thousand civilians under the control of the advancing paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, who have besieged the city for the past 18 months. There are disturbing reports from the Sudanese Doctor's Network that patients have been killed in their hospital beds. We speak to a representative from the network.
