Hot Chip founder, songwriter and DJ Joe Goddard joins Tom Ravenscroft in Suffolk to lend a hand (and two ears) in making sense of the late John Peel’s vast music archive, which is comprised of more than 120,000 albums, 12 inches and seven inches, collected over a lifetime and meticulously catalogued. In this episode, Joe demonstrates his eclectic music knowledge, digging out music from - among others - Ivor Cuttler, Hamilton Bohannon, Iannis Xenakis, Photek and the Lijano Sisters. And he's delighted to find an original copy an album introduced to him by his dad - The Velvet Underground and Nico. Particularly as the "peel slowly and see" banana sticker, an iconic design by Andy Warhol, is still attached to the cover. Presenter: Tom Ravenscroft Producers: Paul Sheehan and Becca Bryers
