Faith, Hope and Glory began following the lives of Hope, Faith (Eunice) and Gloria in the UK from 1946. Three generations of three families bound together by the fate of one baby lost and found on Tilbury Dock. It's now 1988. Faith, Hope and Gloria are retired and widowed, and our focus shifts to the lives of their children and grandchildren. A generation of younger Black Britons are making their way with varying success in Thatcher’s Britain. Old identities are being tested and new relationships within, and between, diverse communities are flourishing. Carnivals and festivals celebrate their presence and contribution to British life.
