Friends raise money for foundation charity Felix planned for St Kitts

UK Black

Available for over a year

Friends of the late comedian Felix Dexter are planning a live tribute event close to the star's birthday, and will use the money raised to set up a foundation charity he was planning to open. The Saint Kitts-born entertainer had developed myeloma, a type of bone marrow cancer, and died last month. He was 52. Plans for the event are in the early stages, but one of Britain's respected theatre directors has been called in to help. Paulette Randall, who worked with Felix on The Real McCoy, tells ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ UKBlack reporter Colleen Harris that friends were desperate to do something for him.
