The first ever celebration of Commonweatlh Day took place in Wellingborough on Monday. The Mayor of Wellingborough, Cllr Graham Lawman read out the Commonwealth Affirmation and the Commonwealth Flag was raised at 10am. The Charter of the Commonwealth promotes diversity and is a celebration of shared values with Commonwealth citizens around the world.
