During the 2014 Celtic Connection festival the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ SSO played a special concert of AR Rahman’s music in Glasgow. AR Rahman and students from the KM Music Conservatory - which he founded in Chennai - came to perform alongside the orchestra. The cultural exchange was completed when players from the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ SSO visited the Conservatory while on the tour in India. Lead by composer and conductor James Macmillan they held a composition workshop for Indian students.
