Paul Lamb who's been paralysed from the neck down since 1990 says he's "going through torture" and that people like him should be allowed to vote on the Assisted Dying Bill. His comments come after the former Archbishop of Canterbury Lord Carey says he's changed his mind and will now support legislation that would make it legal for terminally ill people in England and Wales to receive help to end their lives. He'd previously opposed the Assisted Dying Bill, but says he was persuaded by the case of the late Tony Nicklinson, who had locked-in syndrome, and was refused the legal right to die.
