The lead author of a study carried out by the Institute of Psychiatry at King's College London, Dr Rosalind Arden, said that the accuracy of a four-year-old's drawing "can be associated with later intelligence". The study was carried out on 15,000 children, including nearly 8,000 pairs of twins. However, she said if you have a child that cannot draw at all, it is no indication of their future abilities. The picture above of our presenters, Anna Foster and Peter Allen, was drawn by a five-year-old who hadn't seen them. This clip is originally from 5 live Drive on Tuesday 19 August.
