New research suggests that over-confident people can fool others into believing they are more talented than they are. Academics at Newcastle and Exeter universities say that over-confidence may help some people with an inflated view of their own abilities succeed at work but it can sometimes end badly. Rhymer Rigby author of The Careerist, a book about getting ahead at work and Heather Jackson chief executive of the Women's Business Forum spoke to 5 live about the findings. This clip is from Breakfast 28th August 2014.
