Ebola: The British Connection

UK Black

Available for over a year

It’s a year since the World Health Organisation officially declared there was an outbreak of Ebola across Guinea in March 2014. Since the Ebola outbreak began more than 24,000 people in nine countries have been infected with the virus, and over 10,000 of them have died. In a report published one year on by Médecins Sans Frontières, the organisation slammed global response to the epidemic. But here in the UK there are many stories of how some in the West African diaspora have, over the last 12 months, been trying to help. ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ UK Black’s Ruchi Tandon has been finding out about the British Connection to Ebola, and how people have been showing solidarity with West Africa.
