Former Australia player Marcus North has described compatriot Shane Watson as a "bit of a liability" after his performance in the first Ashes Test in Cardiff. When discussing whether Watson should be dropped for the second Test, North said: "I think there is going to be some serious discussions with the selectors, captain Michael Clarke and coach Darren Lehmann. I think it’s the 13th or 14th time he has been out lbw against England." Former England player Mark Butcher added: "Maybe they need to inject a bit of youth with Mitchell Marsh as the change."
