Should India still have the death penalty?

Nihal

Available for over a year

It says a democratic government should not consider the death penalty as the only form of action to take against someone convicted of a heinous crime. However on social media there are many ordinary Indians lauding the fact that India has executed Yakub Memon. There are many convicted criminals on death row - including the men convicted of the Delhi rape. Is it right that India's legal system has the option of the death penalty, or do you think is doesn't act as a deterrent to serious crimes? Listen to what Don and Sam told Nihal on the phone-in
