Man City fan: I got a United tattoo to raise money for my son

5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

A devout Manchester City fan has been tattooed with the badge of arch-rival club Manchester United to raise money for his son. Mark Pinder's son Kirk,12, suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, an incurable condition which causes the body's muscles to deteriorate and reduce life expectancy. "I was just trying to think of something different other than running. This seemed quite different so I was hoping it would pull City and United fans together and get them to donate which it has done." Mark has exceeded his £10,000 target so far and has raised £11,041 so far. This clip is originally from 5 live Breakfast on August 3 2015.
