Could Fury have Kept his IBF Belt?

Sport Today

Available for over a year

World heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has been stripped of his IBF title less than two weeks after winning it. The British fighter declined to make a mandatory defence against Vyacheslav Glazkov, but will instead face Wladimir Klitschko in a rematch. Kathy Duva is Glazkov's promoter and she told the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Ade Adedoyin that she offered Fury's camp a number of options, which would have enabled him to keep the IBF belt, but his team declined.
