5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

Disgraced tycoon Allen Stanford, currently serving a 110-year prison sentence for his role in one of the biggest Ponzi schemes in US history, refuses to apologise to his victims. Speaking for the first time since 2009, the Texan told the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s sports editor Dan Roan, "I know who I am and so does God, I know what I did and I know what I didn't do - I didn't do anything wrong". The 65 year old suggests that those negatively impacted by the fraud were let down by the Department of Justice, the US government and the Security Exchange Commission. This clip is originally from 5 live Sport on Monday 11 January 2016.
