Call for donors to save cancer patient

ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ OS

Available for over a year

Twenty-four-year-old Lara Casalotti desperately needs a bone marrow transplant. She has been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia but, due to a shortage of donors from ethnic minorities (she is from a Thai-Italian background), the right match has not been found. Her family's campaign, match4lara, is also a call for more people of mixed ethnicity to come forward as donors to help save other lives. Nuala McGovern spoke to Lara's brother, Seb Casalotti.
