Former Newcastle United centre forward Alan Shearer says sacked boss Steve McClaren was unfairly treated by the club. Shearer said dismissing McClaren on Friday, six days after Newcastle's disappointing 3-1 defeat to Bournemouth, was "unprofessional" of the club.
