Former England Under-21 manager Stuart Pearce says he never expected Harry Kane to develop into one of Roy Hodgson’s key players. Tottenham forward Kane is the current top scorer in the Premier League and a key part of the England team. ‘I never saw that in Harry in a million years,’ Pearce, who managed the England Under-21 side between 2007 and 2013, said. ‘He wasn’t even on the radar (for the England Under 21’s),’ he added.
