Scientists map LSD's effect on the brain

The Newsroom

Available for over a year

Scientists have scanned brains of volunteers using LSD and compared them with those using a placebo. They found the hallucinogenic drug makes the brain become less compartmentalised and more like the brain of a baby. Professor David Nutt of Imperial College London did the research.
