Big Boss Interview

Available for over a year

What is 35 metres long, shaped a bit like a train tunnel, and produces electricity and pure water from sunlight? It's something called a Watly. It could be the best way to bring the basics of life, cheaply and cleanly to developing countries. Essentially, it's a computer that uses solar energy to purify water as well as generating electricity. It has been developed as a commercial project with European Union funding. We hear from the project's founder, Marco Attisani.
