Available for over a year

Diving coach Adrian Hinchliffe - who coached Jack Laugher and Chris Mears to Britain's first-ever Olympic diving gold at Rio 2016 - told Afternoon Edition that there had been "some upset and difficult conversations" following his decision to leave British Diving and take up a role as head coach with the Australian team. In reference to the state of coaching in the UK, he said coaches "become pawns." He added that coaching as a profession could be "better valued or better supported." This clip is from Afternoon Edition on Wednesday 15 February 2017.
