Lord Heseltine, sacked as a government adviser after rebelling over Brexit plans, says he鈥檚 never met Theresa May. He told 5 live Breakfast: 鈥淲e might have been in the same room but I鈥檝e never had a conversation that I remember with her.鈥 Lord Heseltine was called back from dinner to the House of Lords to be sacked after backing an amendment to have a 鈥榤eaningful鈥 vote in Parliament on the final terms of Brexit. He said: 鈥淭he [Conservative] party is deeply divided, the country is deeply divided. 鈥48% voted to remain, particularly young people.
