The Turkish city of Istanbul has two sides. One in Europe, the other in Asia. In between -- the Bosphorus Strait -- one of the busiest shipping channels in the world. Ahmet Ustunel, who lost his sight as a child, dreams of returning to Istanbul, and kayaking solo across that body of water. As Laura Klivans reports from San Francisco, that dream might soon be possible. (Image: Ahmet Ustunel paddles his kayak on San Francisco’s Lake Merced. Credit: Adam Grossberg/KQED)
