As new figures reveal how many teachers are signed off with stress, Dot heard from parents. Over 1000 teachers in Wales were signed off because of stress-related conditions during the last school year. Figures obtained by this programme to all of Wales' local authorities reveal that the amount of teachers absent due to stress has risen over the past three years; the highest percentage being in Blaenau Gwent where 9% were signed off and the lowest levels was in Cardiff where 1% were signed off.
