How Vietnamese monks saved an American monastery

Boston Calling

Available for over a year

Monks have been leading simple, contemplative lives in Assumption Abbey, a monastery tucked in Missouri’s Ozark Mountains, for decades. Recently, though, they’ve started to run out of new recruits. Reporter Ryan Schuessler has been speaking to the monks there about the unexpected way they’ve managed to keep their monastery open anyway.
