ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ OS

Available for over a year

There are only two northern white rhinos left in the world, but both are female. As they cannot naturally reproduce, vets in Kenya have created 3 northern white rhino embryos that they will implant into females of another rhino species, which will act as a surrogate. Jan Stejskal is coordinating the project and tolds ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ OS how this procedure may save the species from extinction. (Photo: The last two northern white rhinos. Credit: Ami Vitale)
