Warwick Royal British Legion has poppy stock destroyed

Available for over a year

The Royal British Legion launches its 2023 Poppy Appeal today and this year the public will able to get hold of its newly designed plastic-free poppy for the first time. The new poppy, which is completely recyclable, is the first redesign of the iconic symbol of Remembrance in a generation and the latest designs since the poppy was first used to raise funds in 1921. However the Warwick branch says they've lost around 95% of their own poppy stock due to flooding from Storm Babet. Tony Glover, Chairman of the Warwick Branch of the Royal British Legion speaks to Vic Minett.
