One of the most beloved traditions in the UK is having Christmas dinner, and over time, Christmas menus have changed significantly. Although 500 years ago, Henry VIII's holiday feasts featured wild boar, venison, and beef instead of the common choice of meat, which is turkey today. Researchers from the University of Warwick believe that lab-grown, or cultured, beef may one day take centre stage on our Christmas menus. Theoretical mathematician Dr. Radu Cimpeanu of the University of Warwick focuses on creating computer models that maximise the first phases of lab-grown meat production. ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ CWR's Rosie Eaton has been down to talk with Dr. Radu Cimpeanu as well as patrons of Taylors butchers in Earlsdon to see if they would give it a go.
