Walking to Hilbre Island in Wirral could soon look a little bit different. The local beauty spots' derelict buildings could soon become a new scientific research base and art studio. The local authority has agreed to rent them to the Hilbre Community Land Trust for the next 30 years, and it won't be long until we see the change happen.
