The Forest fans who never spoke about Hillsborough

Available for over a year

35 years since the Hillsborough disaster, there's something different in the way that Liverpool and Nottingham Forest fans have come together to offer each other support. Ninety-seven Liverpool fans died following the crush at the FA Cup Semi Final on the 15th April 1989. Many Forest fans who witnessed the awful scenes that day have never spoken about it, despite suffering sleepless nights, panic attacks and flashbacks. It was one tweet, from a Liverpool fan, which brought them together. If you're affected by what you hear there's help and information available at bbc.co.uk/actionline. If you or anyone you know needs help dealing with the events at Hillsborough contact the Hillsborough Survivors Support Alliance on info@hsa-us.co.uk. Photo: Getty.
