Artist recieves MBE for work on cultural life

Multi-discplinary artist Carol Leeming MBE was born in Leicester and is best known for her choreopoetry. She is of British and Jamaican heritage and has been awarded an MBE by Loughborough University. Her work features in The Cambridge Companion to British Black & Asian Literature, 1945–2010.
