Available for over a year

On the morning of September 1st, 1905 a train leaves London Liverpool Street, bound for Cromer. An hour later, as it approaches Witham station, disaster strikes, as most of the fourteen carriages of the Cromer Express leave the tracks. 11 people were killed - including a 10-year old child. 71 others were injured, 66 of which were passengers. It remains one of the worst-ever railway disasters in the east of England. Narrated by Emma Craig. Photo credit: Picture credit: Fred Spalding
