This is an interactive quiz asking people where they draw the line online. We show users a series of 6-7 photographs of varying degrees of intimacy / explicitness. Some are of hijab-wearing Arab girls taking selfies, one of a girl/boy holding hands, one more provocative selfie of a young woman in underwear taken in a mirror. For each photo there is a question: “Would you share this on Facebook / Instagram?” or “Would you send this in a private message?” Users swipe right or left to answer yes or no. It is a quick, entertaining quiz that raises the serious issue of the tension between the westernised, sexualised culture of social media and the more conservative expectations of the Middle East. At the end is a set of results - how you answered each question, in relation to how the questions were answered by the total group of respondents. At the end, too, is a warning: Remember, never share photos of yourself that you would not want to be posted online.
