The Football League have approved the Luton Town 2020 Consortium takeover of the club.

This also marks 2020's official acceptance of the Football League's conditions of entry - including their points deduction.

Luton听 were first docked 10 points after being found guilty of 15 charges of misconduct by the Football Association and then a further 20 from the Football League for being unable to secure a company voluntary arrangement to exit administration.

The new owners now want to concentrate on avoiding a third successive relegation.

Mark Chapman from the Luton Town Supporters Club told 蜜芽传媒 Three Counties that the club now needs to try and move forward.

"It gives the club a chance of moving on and I think that all fans owe a huge debt of gratitude to 2020 for all their hard work and dedication. I genuinely think that without it Luton Town would not now exist鈥� he said.

However, he is under no illusion that next season is going to be easy and called for all fans to get behind the team.

"I don鈥檛 think anyone underestimates the struggle that faces us moving forward but unless everyone pulls in the right direction we certainly won鈥檛 succeed in that task" he added.

"We need to make Kenilworth Road a fortress so that any club doesn鈥檛 want to visit the ground. If Town fans can get behind the team and enable us to climb the League then I believe that we can look forward to what will bizarrely seen as a successful season by finishing third from bottom."
