Commissioning Round 2026-2027
ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ World Service English invites you to pitch in the commissioning round for April 2026 - March 2027. The round is open to all producers who fulfill the eligibility criteria outlined in the Invitation to Bid.
Please note that World Service has yet to migrate over to the new PiCos system. Therefore the Proteus system will be used for submissions for this round. All proposals must be delivered in Proteus.
Commissioning Timetable 2026-27
Monday 14th July 2025
Invitation to Bid is published.
Proteus opens. At this stage Commissioning require the use of SHORT SYNOPSIS box only.
At this stage Commissioning Editors require UP TO TWO PARAGRAPHS ONLY.
Thursday 11th September 2025 (12 noon)
Deadline for submissions for initial proposals into Proteus
Wednesday 1st October 2025
Pre-offers results published in Proteus
Monday 3rd November 2025 (12 noon)
Deadline to submit final proposals into Proteus.

Results will be published in Proteus
