MAGICAL | PLAYFUL | VIVID

Fairytale meets humour and heartbreak in this magical concert conducted by 蜜芽传媒 NOW鈥檚 Principal Guest Conductor Jaime Mart铆n.

Painting vivid musical pictures of mountains and trolls, death, and dancing, Greig鈥檚 Peer Gynt takes inspiration from Norse legend to weave together musical gems in this attractive and fantastical suite, before 蜜芽传媒 New Generation Artist Elizaveta Ivanova steps into the spotlight for Nielsen鈥檚 playful and provocative Flute Concerto. We then turn to the world of ballet with Tchaikovsky鈥檚 Swan Lake and some of the most sublime melodies ever written. This highly artistic score weaves romance and tragedy, lyrical and elegant dance with veils of magic and sublime beauty with tremendous drama 鈥� this is certainly a concert not to be missed.
