I
didnÂ’t have too much to do this week as it wasnÂ’t
a matter of contacting people, just something I could get
on with on my own. I went along to the evening leg of the
Bank Holiday All dayer at The Welsh Harp. It was cool to write
a piece on something that I really enjoy and would be going
along to anyway!
Pesky
festivals and absent notepads
The
gig was quite good, but it was a shame there werenÂ’t
more bands I knew playing and that their werenÂ’t as many
people as usual – that’s probably because they were
all tired from the Carling festivals!
Paul,
the sound engineer stole my notepad halfway through the first
performance - I didnÂ’t want him reading my terrible notes,
or for him to see my awful scrawls which look like something
a five year old would write like! Luckily,
after much jumping about, I managed to get it back eventually,
hitting my hand along the way - tough life for a journalist
hehe.
I
felt a bit of a nuisance walking around the front of the floor
area with a camera, but I donÂ’t think anyone minded,
so by the end of the night I felt quite confident with it
all.
Quite
cool
It
was quite cool because I got to go talk to lots of random
people and had the article as my excuse. I have several ideas
for next weeks article, not sure what itÂ’s going to be
quite yet, but I hope you enjoy this week's reviewsÂ…
