Being
Gloucester born and raised in Stroud I can quite sympathise
with the young living there and in Cirencester. |
There
is nothing for youngsters to do, no movie theatres to go to and
no clubs.
Living
in America
I now
live in America and there is an abundance of places to go to and
things to do for young people.

They
really have the right idea. Indoor malls where kids can shop with
friends, have lunch and go and see a movie, all in the same area.
Malls
with ice rinks inside for people to skate at all times of the year.
Plenty of skateboard parks.
Lots
of different recreational classes to be taken at their local parks
and swimming centers, for a cheap price and all arranged through
their city councils!
Inspire
your youth!
Wake
up England. Give your youth inspiration not doom and gloom.
It
seems as though the councils in the Gloucestershire area are too
enthused with putting up supermarkets and housing developments than
entertainment.
I agree
with the writer, there is too much vandalism from the youth but
what else is there for them to do?
Stroud
did away with its one movie theatre for a Bingo Hall! Can
Bingo not be played in Church Halls?
Does
it have to take up the only form of entertainment for the youth
of Stroud? |
