Africa On Your Street

Celebrating the African music scene across the UK, the Africa On Your Street website offer tips on gigs, clips of their favourite CDs, news from the studio and gossip from the dance floor - covering styles from Afrobeat to zouk and from laid-back mbira to full-on hip hop.

Ìý

There are profiles of the big international artists on tour and interviews with a wealth of African musicians.

Ìý

Look out for special Africa On Your Street events - in partnership with The Roots Initiative - around the UK throughout the summer in Liverpool, Bristol, Brighton, Newcastle and at the Womad Festival in Reading (Sunday 31 July).

ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ mobile services

Ìý

A distinctive ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ WAP Africa Lives on the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ service will let people access online content while on the move.

Ìý

The service will include quizzes, interesting facts about Africa, and a downloadable Artists' Gallery in collaboration with Africa 05.
