Hustle Ep 6/6

High Definition programme
Monday 8 February
9.00-10.00pm ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ ONE

The gang is just about to close another successful deal in the final episode of the drama about a team of con artists, but a cruel twist of fate reveals one of the marks to be an undercover police officer. It seems the team might be in a spot of bother.

Mickey and the team are arrested and unceremoniously thrown into prison. Things seem to have gone from bad to worse when Nigel Chambers and Jennifer Hughes from MI6 arrive to question Mickey. The pair have a proposition for him and, unfortunately for Mickey, these two don't play by the book.

Jennifer has an ulterior motive – she is friends with DCI Lucy Britford who was conned by the team and has a score to settle. MI6 is willing to offer the team a pardon if they will do a little job in return. The target is the National Bank of Syria and the heist is the unknown contents of a security box. The reward for the team is their freedom plus as much cash as they can carry from the vault.

With no choice but to agree, Ash sets about trying to find a way into the vault. However, the bank has as much security as Fort Knox, which means that Sean and Emma are going to need to find a way in on the inside as well.

The team needs to go the extra mile to pull it off and it seems that even Mickey can't charm his way out of this one.

Mickey is played by Adrian Lester, Albert by Robert Vaughn, Ash by Robert Glenister, Emma by Kelly Adams and Sean by Matt Di Angelo. Nigel Chambers is played by Tom Beard and Jennifer Hughes by Anna Madley.

Hustle is simulcast on the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ HD channel – the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s High Definition channel, available through Freesat, Sky and Virgin Media.

Delia Smith looks at the decade that started with a bang and ended in a crunch

The series celebrating Delia Smith's inspirational cookery reaches its last episode, the Noughties, and looks at the decade that started with a bang and ended in a crunch. Delia goes back to basics with How To Cook, and later gets a little naughty herself with How To Cheat.

She takes tea with Stephen Fry and puts the record straight on that famous "Let's be 'avin ya" moment at a football match.

She also revisits some of her favourite recipes from the decade – fast roast chicken and shami kebabs – and celebrates her all-time favourite fast food, the omelette.

With contributions from Victoria Wood, Sir Terry Wogan, Fay Ripley and Richard Curtis, this final episode of Delia Through The Decades looks back at how a girl who left school with no qualifications went on to become the nation's favourite cook.

Generation Jihad Ep 1/3

New
Monday 8 February
9.00-10.00pm ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ TWO (Schedule addition 25 January)

In this three-part series Peter Taylor investigates the terrorist threat from young Muslim extremists radicalised on the internet. Although they represent a tiny minority of the Muslim community, some would argue they now constitute the single biggest threat to our national security.

Investigating the origins of Generation Jihad, Taylor looks at the radicalisation process and unravels the history, from Rushdie to Afghanistan, that has set Generation Jihad on its path.

Yorkshire – home to many thriving Muslim communities – is also home to three of the bombers who attacked London on the 7 July 2005. In Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, he investigates the case of Hammaad Munshi – how did a bright, well-educated 15-year-old end up becoming Britain's youngest convicted terrorist?

To understand the motivation and backgrounds of such young Muslims, the programme features in-depth interviews with two members of this generation – Bilal Mohammed and Rizwan Ditta, also from West Yorkshire, who have been convicted under Britain's anti-terror laws.

Taylor also delves into the history of British Islam and discovers a group that has shed the moderate faith which their parents brought to this country and adopted a brand of Islam imported from the Middle East and which they believe compels them to stand apart from Britain and its values.

But being a radical Islamist does not make you a terrorist and Taylor investigates the other factors. As a teenager, Umar Abdulmutallab, the young Nigerian charged with trying to blow up a plane over Detroit on Christmas Day, is said to have recorded his feelings of isolation and loneliness in internet postings.

Taylor also examines the background of Jamal Lindsay, who blew up an underground train in London on 7 July 2005, speaking to people who knew him well. A similar picture emerges of a young man cut off from society and positive male role models.

CBEEBIES Monday 8 February 2010

Tinga Tinga Tales

Monday 8 to Friday 12 February
4.10-4.20pm CBEEBIES (Schedule addition 29 January)

Based on African folk tales and the Tinga Tinga art of Tanzania, this vibrant new series from the producer of the award-winning Charlie And Lola continues to bring to life some tall tales with big surprises, with voices from some of Britain's most illustrious stars.

On Monday young viewers can find out why Hen pecks the ground. There was a time when Mam Hen didn't peck the ground but fancy pancy Peacock upsets her and makes her feel plain. Eagle – Mama Hen's best friend – decides to lend Hen her most prized possession – a needle and Mama Hen sews herself the most beautiful coat of new feathers. But then she forgets all about the precious needle and it gets lost in the dust. From that day on Hen always pecks the ground looking for the needle to return to her friend.

Tuesday's tale explains why Spider has a tiny waist. Spider was once big and round... and she did like her food. One day greedy Spider hears of four feasts in Tinga Tinga and she wants to go to them all! So she spins four threads and attaches them to various animals going to the feasts. But the Monkeys, Frog, Hippo and the Bees all set off in different directions – north, south, east and west – and Spider's thread soon runs out. The threads get tighter and tighter, making Spider smaller and smaller and from that day on Spider has always had a tiny waist.

Wednesday's hair-raising adventure reveals why Vulture is bald. Vulture's head was once covered in a beautiful crown of golden feathers but she never shut up about them and was obsessed about making them "as golden as the sun". One day Vulture decides to fly up to the sun, but her precious feathers get burnt! She decides to sooth them with golden honey which she steals from the bees but the bees are not pleased and Vulture sticks her head down Aardvark's burrow. However, Aardvark loves feathers all covered in honey and when Vulture surfaces she is as bald as, well, as a Vulture! Featuring the voice of Penelope Keith as Queen Bee.

On Thursday find out why Caterpillar is never in a hurry. When all the animals were racing around Tinga Tinga getting ready for the best-dressed parade, Caterpillar was happy to sit in a tree and munch on leaves. Then one day the rains come and Caterpillar disappears into a cocoon. "What's happening?" questions Elephant. "Wait and see," says Tortoise wisely. Then Caterpillar transforms into the most beautiful butterfly ever. You see, good things come to those who wait. Featuring the voices of Lenny Henry as Elephant and Shaun Parks as Tortoise.

Friday's fable tells why Mosquito buzzes. You see there was time when Mosquito didn't buzz. Mosquito was as quiet as quiet can be and did she like to tell tales. One day Mosquito tells the Monkeys that the sun looks very low in the sky. "Maybe it's sad and doesn't want to rise!" worry the Monkeys. Mosquito flits off to spread the news – "The sun is never going to rise again!" – soon the whole of Tinga Tinga is in complete panic. Of course, the sun does rise again and all is right once more in Tinga Tinga. But the animals decide to tie a grass around Mosquito's tail. From that day on Mosquito buzzes and everyone can swot her away rather than listen to her gossipy tales.
