    Christmas cocktails and canapés
Landward Christmas cocktail
Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake and pour.
(If you don’t have a cocktail shaker – mix well in a jug and strain before serving.)

| 50ml | Orange liqueur | 
| 200ml | Cranberry juice | 
| Juice of one slice | Lime | 
| Peel of one | Satsuma | 
| Some(!) | Crushed ice | 
 
    Cheese straws

| 2oz | Butter | 
| 1½´Ç³ú | Plain flour | 
| 3oz | Scottish cheddar | 
| Pinch | Cayenne Pepper | 
- Add butter and flour into bowl and use fingers to mix together, like making a crumble.
- Grate in 3oz of cheddar and a pinch of cayenne pepper
- Mix together to form a dough.
- Cover in wrap and put in fridge for 30mins to chill.
- Shape dough into rectangle, roll out to approximately 5mm thick and cut into thin slices.
- Place on baking tray and put into oven, 180°, for 7 minutes.
Salmon on Ciabatta
 
                                    Ingredients
- Ciabatta bread
- Olive oil
- Scottish Smoked Salmon
- Horseradish Sauce
- Apples
- Watercress
Method
- Cut thin slices of ciabatta bread
- Drizzle bread with olive oil and place on baking tray
- Put into oven, 200 degrees, for 7 minutes
- Thinly slice the smoked salmon
- Cut the apple into matchsticks – no need to peel
- When the bread is done leave to cool, then spread horseradish sauce on each slice of ciabatta, top with the salmon and then some apple and watercress.
