3. The Satire Boom

Recalling Peter Cook, David Frost and the part he played in the Sixties' satire boom, David Nobbs reads from his autobiography.
Comic novelist, script writer and creator of the immortal Reginald Perrin, David Nobbs reads from his 2001 autobiography, ‘I Didn’t Get Where I Am Today’.
In this episode, David recalls Peter Cook, David Frost and his part in the satire boom of the 1960s.
In addition to writing ‘The Rise and Fall of Reginald Perrin’, Nobbs also created ‘A Bit of a Do’ and ‘Shine a Light’, as well as penning twenty novels. He died in 2015, aged 80.
