Presenter, Nicola Weir, travels to County Armagh to speak to organic mushroom farmer, John McArdle, about the hurdles facing the industry when it comes to support and labour. Robert Williams from the British Veterinary Association gives an update about the looming deadline on veterinary medicines arriving into Northern Ireland post Brexit and Dr Patrick McAleavey issues some timely health advice to pregnant women and farming families during lambing season. Nicola also speaks to Lucy Cushley from Killinchy who is a Master Saddler and passionate about new blood coming into this very specialised industry. Final stop of the Countryside tour is to Lough Bradan in County Tyrone where a peatland restoration project is taking place to improve water quality.
