Alan Bissett, Lucie Barat and Niall Moorjani at the Edinburgh Festivals

Len Pennie is joined by Niall Moorjani, Alan Bissett and Lucie Barat to hear about the process of writing and starring in each of their new Edinburgh Fringe plays this year.

Len Pennie hosts another audience show from The Pleasance's EICC venue at the heart of the Edinburgh Festivals, joined this time by three playwrights who are writing and starring in new Edinburgh Fringe productions.

Award winning Scottish playwright and novelist Alan Bissett talks about taking on the roles of both Alasdair Gray and Sir Billy Connolly in his new play When Billy Met Alasdair.

Award winning Indian-Scottish storyteller and theatre-maker Niall Moorjani discusses their play Kanpur: 1857, which takes a satirical and deconstructive take on real historical events during a colonial uprising.

Troy star, poet, musician and playwright Lucie Barat talks about her play Standing in the Shadow of Giants, an autobiographical take on her life as a young struggling actor coming to terms with her own identity in London during the time her brother Carl Barat was rising to fame with The Libertines.
