Episode 11
A widow wants to sell her collection to fund a family holiday. Robin restores a tiny rocking chair and tends to a cheetah, while Izzie strikes gold. Expect a huge shock at auction.
When Lorraine lost her husband of 35 years to cancer, she didn't think she'd get a second chance at love. However, romance unexpectedly blossomed with another dog walker, and now she shares her life with Paul. The couple want to sell some of their unwanted and inherited treasures to fund a family holiday, but they have no idea of the value of the items they want to sell.
Lorraine is a collector and has amassed impressive and sizeable collections of Royal Doulton and Minton dinner services as well as some beautiful art nouveau ceramics. Auctioneer Izzie is on hand to identify some key pieces that should sell well at auction. Izzie also finds some sparkling jewellery, including a gold necklace, but is most excited with the discovery of some South African gold, which will shock Lorraine at auction.
Restorer Robin discovers a large kitchen dresser that's damaged and requires a careful repair. He also works on a wooden cheetah, which has travelled from South Africa but become mouldy in Lorraine's loft, and a tiny Victorian rocking chair that's been in the family for decades.
