Belfast's first Catholic Chapel
Jonathan Bardon describes how at the beginning of the 18th century Belfast was an overwhelmingly Protestant town, with a high level of tolerance towards Catholics.
This tolerance led Protestants in 1784 to fund most of the money for building the first Catholic chapel in Belfast - St Mary鈥檚. (Broadcast: 10th Mar 1992)
